In this workshop, Workshop 12, we are going to expand upon a research programme on sickle cell, work and employment in early 21st Century England. The project, Barriers and Enablers to Employment: Black Disabled Workers Living with Sickle Cell Disorders (SCD) ran from 2018 to 2020. The project was a partnership between De Montfort University, the Sickle Cell Society and OSCAR Sandwell.
